CV. KHALIM is a privately-owned Indonesian company with its head office at Cirebon on the island of Java. The company was founded in 1974 by Mr. Khalim himself and CV. KHALIM started their export succes story in 1986 and it has grown steadily up to the present where we are among the leading Indonesian suppliers of Rattan, Wooden Indoor & Outdoor furniture. KHALIM3 is the third generation of CV. KHALIM, there are 2 others CV. KHALIM. The first one (ran by the first generation still) and The second one (ran by the 2nd generation). KHALIM3 offers extensive range of Indoor and Outdoor furniture, not only rattan but also teak, hard wood, aluminum and plastic material.

Organisation:

Together with our affiliated company, CV. KHALIM has a Indonesia team of about 40 committed employees. In addition, we employ more than 1,000 people at our production facilities in Cirebon. Thanks to our affiliated company MEGA ART COLLECTION, which has given a lot of support to our company.

Today, CV. KHALIM has customers throughout the world – we supply products to European Countries (both West and East). We operate on a total of 10 markets and have good growth rates in most countries.

Product development:

CV. KHALIM wishes to be an innovative company that is in the lead and occupies a very prominent position with regard to product development at a global level within our niche. This can be ensured with the help of our own designs and co-operation with local designers. Ongoing product development ensures that we can create at least one new product a week on average. All of our furniture is designed and developed from scratch in Indonesia and then manufactured in the West Java and Central Java. Comfort and quality are the primary considerations in connection with product development, and all our products are subsequently hand woven with the use of the best materials.

CV. KHALIM Outdoor (Teak Garden Furniture):

Our teak garden furniture is made from grade “B” and *C*. There are three kinds of Products made from Grade C teak. It is not only fine sanded product but also Grace *C* with Teak Oil and Grace *C* which is chemically treated so that it looks like a grade *A* Teak product without any supwood color remaining.

We might say that Grade *A* Teak is no longer exist in Indonesia. There is grade *A* one but for sure they are in small number remain and they are cost a lot indeed. There is one place in this world which is still has a Grade *A* teak, it is BURMA (MYANMAR), but people who are selling the teak from MYANMAR should have had "FSC Certificate" (Forest Stewardship Council). It is a certificate given to those who develop an ecological approach to the timber they use. MYANMAR’s TEAK WOOD comes from forest not from plantation just like we have in Indonesia. So that’s why it is require FSC Certificate. Further, we offer a range of over 80 different Teak items.

CV. KHALIM Indoor :

The Indoor collection is designed for the home and is made Natural fiber. We have woven furniture for all the rooms in the home – from the bedroom to the dining room, where the woven chairs can be attractively combined with our Mahogany or Teak Tables. This collection is ideal for family life and the contract market as this easily cleaned furniture combines high wearing strength with comfort and design.

We use different natural materials for our collection of furniture in natural rattan to create exciting furniture for the home. The collection has a broad scope and contains a wide range of sofas, woven chairs, chests of drawers, and headboards, so there is furniture for the bedroom, the children's room, the living room, and the dining room, as well as rattan groups for patios and weekend cottages.

CV. KHALIM Basketwares :

We do offer extensive range of basketwares for indoor and outdoor use. We use rattan and other nat ural fibers.
